Summary
Working with close supervision, the Loss Prevention Lead initiates, coordinates, and assists in the development of operational procedures in order to reduce shrinkage, increase safety, and protect assets. Associates in the role will oversee the development and work of the loss prevention specialists; ensure the Fulfillment Centers are audited quarterly and oversee the RMA process to ensure all equipment is credited. Associate will interact with his or her supervisor frequently during each work period. Nearly all but the most routine activities will require a supervisor’s advance approval.
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES*
• Model the behaviors expected of all GameStop associates including a drive for results with a clear bias for action; high levels of maturity and professionalism; giving, receiving, and responding to feedback effectively; a high service orientation; and clear commitments to diversity, inclusion, a respectful workplace, and integrity
• Oversee 2-3 Loss Prevention Specialists
• Hire new Loss Prevention Specialists when growth requires it
• Assist in the investigations of employees and report and follow up on suspicious practices or invoices uncovered when auditing locations and reviewing DVRs footage.
• Collect, review, and distribute the inventory report to the management team for weekly review.
• Manage the quarterly audit document and report monthly audits numbers
• Ensure audit score sheets are reported in a timely manner
BASIC AND PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE)
• Accredited Bachelor’s in Business Management or related field required; at least one year of additional related experience may be considered in substitution
• 4 or more years of related experience required
• Work overtime as required
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS, JOB SKILLS, ABILITIES
• Expert ability to work under demanding time constraints and production goals
• Proficient project planning skills, including the ability to organize, prioritize and control job responsibilities in order to meet deadlines in an environment with overlapping and potentially conflicting priorities
• Possess expert analytical, problem solving and decision-making skills
• Proficient ability to model consistently GameStop’s commitment to a respectful, diverse, inclusive, and collaborative work environment
