Job Description

Experience: 8+ years

Expertise in C/C++ programming.

Technical Skills:

[1] Expertise with implementation of IP/MPLS/GMPLS protocols suite (strong preference for GMPLS implementation for ASON, WSON applications)

[2] Deep expertise in one or more protocols – LMP, RSVP-TE, OSPF-TE or PCEP.

[3] Experience with implementing the protocol stack on an embedded system – i.e., integrating the protocol stack with the platform-specific module/libraries.

[4] Good understanding of the data-flow within the system

[5] Strong C programming skills with expertise in multi-threaded systems (Linux experience would be a plus. C++ with expertise in multi-threaded system would be a huge plus.)

Soft Skills:

[1] Self-motivated

[2]Ability to work within distributed teams.

[3]Excellent written and oral communication skills

As a senior member of the Apollo GMPLS team, you will be building features that will deployed in Tier-1 SPs, NRENs and Utility companies worldwide. The job requires having a solid grasp of the overall GMPLS architecture on the Apollo family of products. The job entails working closely with the marketing/systems group to design, implement, unit-test several features that span the overall Shadetree network operating system. Shadetree software is built on top of Linux OS and is written in C++ as a highly scalable, multi-threaded, distributed and fault-tolerant network OS.
