The pay range is $144,400.00 - $259,900.00

A role with Roundel is an opportunity to represent the company in the sales of digital media, advertising and custom marketing campaign solutions to the national media and advertising agency market. You’ll develop and present market-leading media strategies and smart solutions that exceed our clients’ needs all with a focus on delivering on Target’s unmatched brand promise. Your challenge will be to lead the RFP process including reviewing responses, writing proposals, coordinating insertion orders and managing client contact reports. Use your strong communication skills and digital media experience to tell the story of Target’s key differentiators in the media and ad markets. As a leader with Roundel, you will be an integral part of defining the product future while leading the present by identifying, developing and managing critical core capabilities within the Roundel ad product portfolio. 

 

As the Principal Product Manager – Roundel Omnichannel Portfolio Strategy, you will develop and implement comprehensive omnichannel strategies, inclusive of building a Business Capabilities Architecture across Digital (Web & App) / In-Store Channels, Social, Search, Open Web, CTV alongside key Enterprise teams. Oversee the integration and optimization of holistic Interactive Display, Targeted & Relevant Ads, and Guest Mobile interactions. Manage and optimize the commercial portfolio, ensuring alignment with business goals and market demands. As well as identify growth opportunities within the portfolio, driving innovation and corresponding measurement to enhance product offerings will be key to success. Ensure Guest identity/audience addressability are effectively managed and leveraged across channels, while also synthesizing state-by-state and federal privacy regulations, ensuring compliance and best practices. Collaborate with Enterprise teams (i.e. Marketing, Sales, Tech, Operations, Creative, etc.) to influence and drive successful Omnichannel initiatives. Conduct market research and competitive analysis to inform product strategy and identify trends, to develop and present detailed reports on holistic product performance, market opportunities, as well as strategic initiatives to Stakeholders and Sr. Leaders. This role will act as a thought leader to anticipate and prepare for long-term trends and industry shifts in the ever-evolving landscape of Retail Media Networks and Ad-enabled multimedia experiences in eCommerce. 

 

As a Principal Product Manager, you will work in the product model and will lead the development of a comprehensive product strategy and set key business objectives (OKRs) for your respective product domain. You will need to leverage extensive knowledge of your product, as well as, customer feedback, key data and analytics, and other relevant data points to assess value, develop business cases, and prioritize the direction and desired outcomes for your product.  

 

You will be the “voice of the product” to all outside stakeholders advocating for your product and ensuring their needs are met and that the product team is getting the leadership and support that it needs to be successful. You will need to cultivate strong relationships across the enterprise in order to drive collaboration and alignment with key partners and stakeholders across pyramids.  

 

You will develop and actively maintain a product roadmap outlining prioritization for the customer themes, technical needs, and design challenges to be delivered and you will be accountable to make final decisions on scope and prioritization relative to the product backlog. You will be accountable to create and manage product objectives and key results, key metrics for your product, as well as related P&L impacts.  

 

You will oversee progress against product backlogs to ensure work and priorities are in line with the product strategy while prioritizing themes, epics, and stories, to ensure work focuses on those with maximum value that are aligned with the product strategy.  

 

Your mission as the Principal Product Manager of Roundel Omnichannel Portfolio Strategy is to create the vision & influence: 

  • Business Vision & Strategy: Sets the strategic direction of our Ad technology and product development across our Commercial Product Portfolio consisting of Taget O&O channels, In-Store, Off-platform, and Audience data 

  • Development and capitalization of Target’s rich shopping data into a streamlined platform for media and audience targeting and selling 

  • Drive the business strategy for Data and GenAI integration/usage within media channels

About you:  

  • Four-year degree or equivalent experience 

  • 10+ years of Product Management or equivalent Domain experience, with a focus on Digital Advertising and/or Omnichannel strategies] 

  • Proven track record of leading large-scale enterprise Product initiatives  

  • Experience managing commercial portfolios and driving revenue growth 

  • Excellent understanding of digital media and/or retail in-store advertising & measurement, audience targeting, and identity management

  • Knowledge of privacy regulations and their implications for digital advertising Experience with Digital Tech and ability to facilitate communication between enterprise business and technology teams  

  • Familiarity with the latest AdTech tools & Platforms 

  • Outstanding communication and presentation skills with a proven ability to influence peers, key stakeholders and leaders 

  • Ability to plan and set a strategy, define Objectives & Key Results (OKRs), communicate and drive business outcomes 

  • Exceptional leadership and cross-functional collaboration abilities 

  • Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

This position may be considered for a Remote or Hybrid (known internally at Target as "Flex for Your Day") work arrangement based on Target's needs.  A Remote work arrangement means the team member works full-time from home or an alternate location that's not a Target location, does not have a desk at a Target location and may travel to HQ up to 4 times a year.  A Hybrid/Flex for Your Day work arrangement means the team member's core role may be performed either remote or onsite at a Target location depending upon what your role, team and tasks require for that day. Work duties cannot be performed outside of the country of the primary work location, unless otherwise prescribed by Target.
