Project Buyer - Tuam

Key responsibilities:

• Prepare sourcing plan respecting project milestones and key deliverables

• Identify Critical components and align with other Project Team members on a contingency plan

• Organise  Pre-sourcing and Sourcing committee, and select suppliers in line with the Platform and Group Segment  Strategy

• Assess pre-selected supplier risks (Development and production capacity, Technical or Quality capability, etc..)

• Perform RFQ Process with supplier

• Gather required specs from the team and organise Design reviews with suppliers

• Install competition between suppliers and proceeds with negotiations to ensure successful RFQ

• Pilot and forecast Project Purchasing Index and lead productivity action plan to reach set targets.

• Manages and achieves all project milestones related to supplier deliverables and follows the Part Qualification stages.

• Order material for prototype builds

• Create Early open orders in the SAP system to ensure supply for early launch into production.

• Ensures smooth transfer to Serial production including Productivity Action yet to implement
