What will you do? 
A day in the life of the Associate Apparel Graphic Designer is to conceptualize, design and execute creative projects for The North Face Global Product and Creative department’s needs. This includes Men’s, Women’s and Youth graphic apparel, accessories, equipment, and brand labeling systems.

  • Contribute to the innovative, brand-right graphics for all tiers of global apparel and product branding, for both in-line and quick-turn calendars.
  • Own the creative process to make sure that the final product aligns with creative direction and meets commercial objectives.
  • Collaborates with Creative Directors to create seasonal graphic concepts.
  • Design graphic art with planning and forethought around artwork execution: screen-printing techniques, applique, embroidery, and other embellishment methods.
  • Continuously leverages resources in producing new ideas. Has solid awareness of outdoor, lifestyle and streetwear trends and the ability to interpret these trends through the TNF lens.
  • Creates accurate production files detailing artwork specifications, scale, application materials to vendors. Reviews strike-offs and drives for highest standard of results.
  • Produce trend and travel reports and present findings to cross functional teams.
  • Continue to learn new software and skills as Graphic design field evolve.

Additionally, while formal education in a related field is great to have, we are most interested in your 1+ years of experience and professional achievements

The foundation skills you will need in this position are: 

  • Developed in presentation skills for storytelling and presenting graphics compellingly (a must).
  • Proficient with Adobe CS.
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with a team and must have a track record in executing tasks/projects.
  • Excellent project management skills: efficient, organized and collaborative, able to keep track of multiple streams of work and accomplish work through others.
  • Strong communication skills, written and verbal.
  • Embrace change and react with speed and agility.
  • Flexible and creative problem solver.
  • Personal professionalism and accountability.

Hiring Range:

$60,480.00 USD - $75,600.00 USD annually

Incentive Potential: This position is eligible for additional compensation awards that may include an annual incentive plan, sales incentive, or commission potential. Specific details of the additional compensation eligibility for this position will be provided during the recruiting and interview process.
