We are recruiting for a Head of HR Operations in our People Services team. You will be accountable for managing and overseeing delivery of end-to-end services from Onboarding to Offboarding. A Senior HR expert with a strong background in HR operational excellence, workforce management, and service delivery.

As well as collaborating with other service delivery teams, HR teams, and other senior ASDA stakeholders to focus on high HR service delivery standards and evolve against market leading practices you will deliver a seamless colleague experience for all HR services and provide oversight to ~150+ colleagues in People Services.

 You will be expected to play a critical role in streamlining processes and owning the overall operational plan and collaborate with product & process owners, peers, vendors, and other stakeholders to deliver efficient and high-quality processes to colleagues to drive business outcomes.

“Find your role”

  • Develop and translate ASDA Workforce strategy into operational talent goals, objectives, and service delivery roadmap.
  • Communicate a clear vision and strategy for the end-to-end delivery of services.
  • Develop and translate organizational strategy into operational goals, objectives, and service delivery roadmap.
  • Implement required changes to service delivery to drive efficiency and colleague experience.
  • Implement and execute with quality and consistency standardized procedures to ensure effective delivery of services.
  • Assess process risks and work closely with Process Owners to mitigate these risks.
  • Function as an operational leader and SME for the services supported to drive closure of more complex challenges in operational delivery.
  • Ensure high customer satisfaction ratings by ensuring transactions are executed accurately and as per agreed upon SLAs.
  • Adopt and implement a data and analytics-driven approach to measure the efficiency of the end-to-end processes.
  • Lead the analysis of the existing delivery methodology to identify inefficiencies, redundancies, and areas for improvement.
  • Evaluate process operations against set quality standards and SLAs.
  • Establish and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure the success and impact of the optimized services.
  • Make recommendations and compelling business arguments to determine which opportunities to pursue with a focus on achieving organizational goals.
  • Build business cases to quantify the cost and value of opportunities and advocate for funding, as necessary.
  • Continuously monitor performance, gather data, and provide regular reports to management.
  • Work in partnership with the process owner to build a culture of continuous process excellence and improvement.
  • Provide SME expertise and inputs to ensure consistency and alignment across policy, process, and data.
  • Provide SME inputs to support efforts to ensure resources are trained on processes, policies, and systems.
  • Foster strong relationships with stakeholders, including team members, department heads, and senior leadership.
  • Lead and motivate the team by providing guidance, setting performance goals, conducting regular performance evaluations, and facilitating professional development.
