Role – Associate Director – Talent Acquisition

Reports to – Head of Talent Acquisition

About the Role

In this leadership role, you will take complete ownership of the non-tech talent acquisition function. You'll develop and implement comprehensive recruitment strategies, manage and coach a team of recruiters, and ensure a seamless and data-driven recruitment experience for all hiring managers. With your deep industry knowledge and expertise, you'll be a trusted advisor, shaping the future of our non-tech workforce.

Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Leadership:
    • Develop and implement a comprehensive talent acquisition strategy for all non-tech functions, aligned with the company's overall business goals.
    • Partner with senior leadership across the organization to understand talent needs and identify future talent requirements.
    • Partner with branding teams to develop and implement an employer branding strategy to attract top talent in the non-tech space.
    • Oversee the performance and development of a high-performing recruitment team, providing coaching and mentorship.
  • Recruitment Management:
    • Manage the entire recruitment lifecycle for senior and niche non-tech positions, including designing and executing search strategies, sourcing top talent, and leading the interview process.
    • Foster a strong relationship with external recruiting partners to optimize talent acquisition efforts.
  • Data & Analytics:
    • Implement a data-driven approach to recruitment, analyzing metrics and identifying areas for improvement.
    • Develop and maintain talent maps for critical non-tech roles.
    • Utilize data to inform strategic decision-making and influence hiring discussions.
  • Candidate Experience:
    • Champion a positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment process, ensuring timely communication and feedback.
    • Design and implement interventions focussed on driving a strong positive candidate experience
  • Project Management:
    • Lead the development and implementation of talent acquisition-related projects or cross-functional initiatives.
    • Analyze recruitment metrics and identify areas for improvement, continuously optimizing the talent acquisition process.

Experience & Qualifications:

  • 12 - 15 years of experience in Talent Acquisition leadership with a proven track record of success in non-tech hiring, preferably for an e-commerce organization.
  • Strong understanding of the recruitment lifecycle and the ability to manage it strategically.
  • Proven ability to develop and implement successful recruitment strategies.
  • Excellent leadership skills with the ability to coach, mentor, and motivate a team.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
  • Passion for building a diverse and inclusive workplace.
