• Drive the plant key performance indicator (KPI) targets of cost, quality, service, hygiene and safety
• Provide Operational Control in all aspects of running production equipment
• Monitor, control and carry out basic fault diagnosis and repairs on equipment
• Take responsibility for good manufacturing practice and excellent hygiene and safety standards within the plant
• Identify opportunities for improvement and implement solutions
  

• A strong mechanical/engineering base required
• Excellent communication skills
• Can demonstrate a high engineering aptitude
• Real attention to detail and a high degree of autonomy
• Have enthusiasm and a positive approach to driving performance
• Logical approach to problem solving, and proven practical skills on plant equipment
