Therapies Manager, DVH

 

United Health Services is seeking a Therapies Manager to join our Speech Path Therapy department at DVH in Walton, NY. This position is benefits eligible.

Salary range:

$40.87 - $62.19 per hour, depending on experience.

Overview

Responsible for the overall planning, development, coordination, implementation and management of the Therapies Department. This position includes day to day operations, financial management, communication, and interoffice coordination to ensure quality service of the Therapy’s department to include providing Speech/Language pathology services.

Qualifications

Education and Experience

Minimum Required:   

• Master’s Degree in Speech Language Pathology
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (ASHA) or Clinical Fellowship year candidate.

Preferred: 

• Previous clinical experience
• Experience with dysphagia and neurogenic communication disorders

License and Certification

Minimum Required: 

• NYS license or eligibility to be licensed as a Speech Language Pathologist.
• CPR

Preferred: 

• Certification Teacher of Speech and Language Disabilities.
