Members can play, pause and resume watching as much as they want, anytime, anywhere, and can change their plans at any time.

We are looking for a Coordinator to join our Contingent Compensation team based in Los Angeles. The Contingent Compensation team handles royalties, revenue sharing and profit participations related to the exploitation of our content and related rights including merchandise, music, and games.

The ideal candidate will be highly organized with strong communication skills. Experience reading/interpreting contracts, managing large sets of data, and improving workflows will also be key to success in this role. As the Coordinator, you will work cross-functionally to share data, improve the way we work, and provide external facing support to our talent and partners.

Visit our culture memo and long-term view to learn more about Netflix's unique culture and the opportunity to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Outbound: You identify royalty, revenue share, and profit participation obligations based on contractual agreements. Onboard payees and distribute statements/payments.
  • Inbound: You track expected income, verify the accuracy of incoming statements, and prepare invoices. This may require the ability to manage large sets of data - familiarity with SQL, Google Scripts, and Airtable is a plus.
  • You field internal and external inquiries from partners and talent. Communicate clearly and effectively manage relationships.
  • You track team deadlines. Prepare reports and presentations. Monitor KPIs and perform ad-hoc analyses on the data you have collected.
  • You participate in efforts to innovate and improve Contingent Compensation processes that help the whole team succeed.

Qualifications:

  • BA/BS required.
  • 1-5 years related work experience.
  • Excellent verbal and written communicator who can build strong working relationships with a diverse group of cross-functional business partners.
  • Experience managing large sets of data including familiarity with SQL, Google Scripts, and Airtable is a plus.
  • Self-motivated, quick-thinking and adaptable to change. You must have the ability to work proactively, independently and reliably under tight time-frames in a fast-paced environment.
  • Willingness to take on challenges outside of your area of expertise.
  • Understand, advocate, and embody the company's values and team goals.
