Project Manager - TOKYO

SUMMARY

Ribbon is looking for a Project Manager to lead project teams and cross-organizational processes (engineering, customer support, pre-sale, etc.) by coordinating with relevant functional stakeholders and ensuring high customer satisfaction levels (internal and external customers). The Project Manager will report to the local PM team leader and will be part of the Japan team.
 

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

• Responsibility for accomplishing the project objectives
• Understand the customer needs; align expectations & develop a partnership
• Defining workflow process and matrix responsibilities within Ribbon and external customer
• Defining a project plan, task assignments, project timetable and deliverables
• Managing customer's needs & priorities
• Managing & controlling project operating expenses including logistics aspects
   

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

• Minimum 3 years of experience in managing large-scale projects
• Both Technical-orientation and marketing orientation
• Excellent communication and matrix management skills
• Team player, with excellent client facing and internal communication skills
• Experience in working with high-level management
• Ability to work under pressure and in changing environment
• Experience in working with Technology sector customers
• Highly organized and detail oriented
• Fluent English and Japanese (verbal and written)
   

ADVANTAGES

• Bachelor’s Degree in engineering or Commercial, MBA
• Project experience in IP and Optical networking
• Experience with multiple disciplinary projects
• PMP or similar certification
