Our Consultant role provides services for Amdocs and 3rd party applications, also runs programs, applies functional business standard methodologies to transform business processes, crafts and leads change to restructure and transform organizations and achieves business objectives.  

What will your job look like?

• Design, develop, and maintain tools, services, and reusable modules and frameworks to automate the provisioning of cloud infrastructure.
• Troubleshooting, performance analysis and remediation to improve cloud stability, performance and security.
• Provide Product and Engineering teams with standards and best practices on how to deploy and consume public cloud services.
• Proactively seek opportunities to improve operational efficiency and consumption of cloud services.
• Operate with a product mindset.
• Closely partner with Architecture and Security teams to incorporate respective requirements and best practices.
• Build and operate core automation, tools, governance, security, networking, reporting tasks and cloud infrastructure.
• Identify and raise technical, business and operational risks and opportunities for increased automation.
• Demonstrate critical thinking and growth mindset, enthusiastic about learning new technologies quickly and applying the gained knowledge to address business problems.

All you need is...

•     Around 5 - 8 years of experience required with DevOps tools & multi cloud services -- including open-source technology, system engineering, scripting languages and multiple cloud providers.
  •    Detailed Knowledge on Kubernetes, Jenkins, Groovy, Helm, Bitbucket, Nexus , Docker , Terraform, AWS and Azure Services.
  •    In Depth understanding of Kubernetes/OpenShift.
  •    Excellent Linux administration skills.
  •    Experience with Terraform and Terragrunt development.
  •    Excellent knowledge on Groovy and integrating it with Jenkins and shared libraries.
  •    Hands-on experience in developing end-to-end CI/CD pipelines.
  •    Expert knowledge on AWS and Azure infrastructure and services.
  •    Experience in troubleshooting problems and working with a team to resolve large scale issues.
  •    Familiarity with SQL and No-SQL databases like Couchbase and Postgres.
  •    Experience with Ansible.
  •    Advanced knowledge of modern scripting or programming languages such as Javascript, Python, or Go
  •    Deep understanding of Terraform and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) best practices
  •    Strong working knowledge of using Git for code management
  •    Advanced experience building, installing & configuring software, infrastructure and services:
  o    Compiling and building software with Maven, Gradle, or Node
  •    Experience with continuous integration (CI) tools such as Gitlab, Jenkins, Bamboo, Nexus, Artifactory
  •    Experience writing and building automation for AWS IaaS, PaaS services
  •    Experience with container technologies like AKS, EKS, ECS, Docker, and Kubernetes
  •    Experience with and understanding of cloud security concepts and tooling, such as Azure AD, AWS IAM, Hashicorp Vault, CyberArk etc.
