Software Engineer 3 - Remote - Durham, North Carolina, United States of America

We are seeking a Software Engineer 3 to join Q² Solutions, IQVIA’s laboratory business remotely.

As a Software Engineer 3, you will design and develop software solutions, analyze user requirements, and make decisions within limited parameters under regular supervision.

What You’ll be Doing:

• Designing and developing software solutions.
• Working at all layers of the application stack including front-end user interface and backend development.
• Analyzing user requirements and making decisions within limited parameters.
• Supporting and may lead projects within own organization with limited complexity.
• Developing and maintaining data models for the metrics system.
• Developing and maintaining data visualization using Power BI to present metrics to stakeholders.
• Collaborating with the software engineer to design and implement APIs for data access.
• Writing and maintaining technical documentation for the metrics system.

What We Are Looking For:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
• Master’s degree in business analytics, data science, or data analytics (Preferred).
• Proficient in SQL and database management.
• Experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
• Other Equivalent combination of education, training, and experience may be accepted in lieu of degree.

The potential base pay range for this role, when annualized, is $89,300.00 - $148,800.00. The actual base pay offered may vary based on a number of factors including job-related qualifications such as knowledge, skills, education, and experience; location; and/or schedule (full or part-time). Dependent on the position offered, incentive plans, bonuses, and/or other forms of compensation may be offered, in addition to a range of health and welfare and/or other benefits.
