The In-home Health and Wellbeing assessment team is seeking a skilled Business Analyst who is adept in using SQL for analysis and possesses a keen eye for monitoring and troubleshooting KPIs. This role requires someone who can effectively engage in interoperability initiatives and perform ad-hoc analyses to support our business objectives. The ideal candidate will have insatiable curiosity and a strong aptitude for learning.

The In-home Health and Well-being (IHWA) assessment team is seeking a skilled Business Analyst who is adept in using SQL for analysis and possesses a keen eye for monitoring and troubleshooting KPIs. This role requires someone who can effectively engage in interoperability initiatives and perform ad-hoc analyses to support our business objectives. The ideal candidate will have insatiable curiosity and a strong aptitude for learning.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop SQL queries for analysis and identification of root cause.
  • Utilize existing reports and dashboards to monitor key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Conduct ad-hoc analyses to provide insights and support decision-making processes.
  • Participate in interoperability initiatives to ensure seamless data integration across various platforms, teams and IHWA vendors.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and enhance reporting capabilities.
  • Refine business processes to improve efficiency and effectiveness.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration/Information Systems or equivalent experience in a data or analytics oriented role
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills including ability to link pivots to external data sources, creating pivot tables and summarizing data into reports and dashboards
  • Proficiency in developing SQL queries with large and complex data sets
  • Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and the ability to read and understand raw data, reports and dashboards
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues
  • Ability to learn/understand IT jargon and reiterate in layperson terms
  • Strategic thinker and skilled communicator
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple or competing priorities
  • Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in designing, developing, and maintaining reports and dashboards in Power Bi or similar application
  • Medicare Risk Adjustment (MRA) background and knowledge
  • Knowledge of various healthcare tools and systems (ex. PDEX, CDEX, Epic, Availity, etc.)
  • Beginner to Intermediate Power Automate or similar automation experience
  • Proficiency in understanding Healthcare related data

Additional Information

Work-At-Home Requirements:

  • WAH requirements: Must have the ability to provide a high-speed DSL or cable modem for a home office. Associates or contractors who live and work from home in the state of California will be provided payment for their internet expense.

  • A minimum standard speed for optimal performance of 25x10 (25mpbs download x 10mpbs upload) is required.  

  • Satellite and Wireless Internet service is NOT allowed for this role.

  • A dedicated space lacking ongoing interruptions to protect member PHI / HIPAA information

Pay Range

The compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting. The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location and individual pay will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc.


 

$71,500 - $98,500 per year


 

This job is eligible for a bonus incentive plan. This incentive opportunity is based upon company and/or individual performance.
