Job Description Summary:

This fast-paced role provides administrative support to the operations of the OhioHealth Outpatient Neurological Rehab program in Central Ohio. Our front desk staff plays an essential role in the recovery process of each patient.

Office Specialists are responsible for patient registration, comprehensive insurance verification, and patient scheduling. Answers telephone and directs calls appropriately. Greets customers with OhioHealth service excellence standards.

Float Position Expectations: As part of this role, you'll be responsible for traveling to multiple central Ohio locations to fill staffing needs for varied length of assignments. Your ability to coordinate and adapt to different environments will be crucial.

Minimum Qualifications:

High School or GED (Required)

Demonstrates customer service and telephone skills.  Knowledge in basic word processing and spreadsheet software. Knowledge of insurance, registration or billing processes and medical terminology.  1-2 years previous secretarial experience in health care or medical office.
