Job Description:

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Warehouse Clerk to join our team! In this role you will get to support DTRA training OCONUS working from our Lorton, VA location

Casual with potential to convert to Full-time upon proving ability to thrive in the warehouse environment.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Receiving Shipments: verifying the accuracy of shipments by checking for discrepancies, and signing off on deliveries.

  Inventory Management: Monitoring and managing inventory levels using inventory management systems, performing cycle counts, and organizing stock within the warehouse.

• Warehouse Operations: Storing received goods in appropriate locations within the warehouse, maintaining an organized and efficient storage system, and ensuring the warehouse is clean and safe.

• Picking and Packing: Retrieving products from the warehouse to fulfill customer orders, packing goods for shipment, and ensuring the accuracy and quality of orders.

• Compliance: Ensuring all logistics activities comply with relevant laws and regulations. Adhere to health and safety policies and quality standards, Comply with laws, regulations, and ISO requirements.

• Supply Chain Coordination: Communicating with Managers of shortages or missing equipment ensuring a smooth process of the supply chain.

• Problem-Solving: Addressing and resolving any issues that arise during the shipping or receiving process, such as damaged goods or delivery delays.

  Supporting other teams within the company and affiliated companies.

What Required Skills You'll Bring:

• High school diploma or equivalent; further education or certification in logistics or a related field is a plus.

• Must be a US Citizen with willingness to obtain a government clearance.

What Desired Skills You'll Bring:

• Secret Clearance

• Experience working DoD supply chain/ US Military a experience a strong plus

  years of experience in a logistics, warehouse, or similar role.

• Familiarity with inventory software, databases, and systems.

• Strong working knowledge of logistics and inventory management practices.

• Excellent organizational and time management skills.

• Ability to lift heavy objects in excess of 45 pounds and remain on your feet for extended periods.

• Good communication skills and a team player mindset.

Salary Range: 

$29.42 - $51.49
