We are recruiting for a Critical Path Assistant to oversee the GM Critical Path Process and escalate issues when resolution is proving difficult.

- Build and maintain all Critical Paths on the GM modular range change system.
- Facilitate amendments to GM Critical Paths
- Monitor weekly cannonball process :
- Provide relevant challenges to delegates (Inc Grade B’s)
- Produce timely and accurate minutes of the sessions.
- Improve efficiency of the cannonballs and outputs to give teams back as much time as possible.
- Liaise with Store Retail Operations Business Partners between sessions to ensure successful resolution of issues
- To support the GM Range Change Critical Path Manager in ensuring the hrs for activity are correct and updating relevant teams with any issues /amends
- Support all teams to ensure all milestones are met on time.
- Update the GM Senior Leadership Team with the status of range changes and ensure accurate information is presented in the board report.
- Reduce the complexity of documentation to allow one best way of working. Use relationships within Central Planning to develop systems to achieve this.
- Investigate with GM Critical Path Manager new Project Management tools to provide improvements and simpler documentation.
- Manage, facilitate and present training courses on GM modular range change system, CP and RCCS
- Facilitate autopsy sessions on all Critical Paths including all GM functions at all levels to improve implementation of ranges.
- Contribute to successful range exit by processing markdowns through our Markdown Optimization tool (MDO), working with the category teams to ensure the right products are marked down in the right stores, at the right time. Initially this will focus on restrictions, with the opportunity to manage deleted items as the rollout of this project continues.
- OD 500 GM lines: twice yearly data trawl and review. Timeline for completion to teams and publishing of data, documents for completion.
- Range document control for range creation, liaison with commercial/ wider Business Support teams teams on input and ability to use for 3RD Party Suppliers.
