Job Summary
This role of ScrumMaster and Systems Engineer Video Software is responsible for managing the design, implementation, and maintenance of complex software systems that meet specific business needs or technical requirements. The role works at the intersection of software development, system architecture, and project management to ensure the successful development and deployment of software solutions that address a wide range of challenges and requirements. The role optimizes software systems for enhanced performance, scalability, and resource efficiency to deliver an optimal end-user experience.
The ideal candidate would be co-located with engineers in Westminster, Colorado and would be an experienced ScrumMaster who has handled multiple Scrum teams, one who has Kanban experience, one who has hands on programing experience and/or a Computer Science background, one who has Systems Engineering/Architecture experience, one who is very well organized and can work in a fast paced engineering organization.
Responsibilities
• Running multiple existing Scrum Teams
• Facilitates Story Grooming, Review and scoping sessions
• Facilitates Demo sessions and retrospectives
• Manages JIRA boards, tickets and queries
• Coaching developers on Agile principles and best practices, providing guidance and mentoring to less-experienced staff members
• Collaborates with other ScrumMasters, Systems Engineers and Architect
• Collaborates and communicates with management, internal, and outsourced development partners regarding software systems design status, project progress, and issue resolution.
• Manages Confluence pages and Word documents with System Requirements/User Stories
• Represents the software systems engineering team for all phases of larger and more-complex development projects.
• Story writing: As needed works with product management, engineering stakeholders and architect to gather business requirements and translates them to well written user stories
• Understanding the software being developed thoroughly by being hands on with deployment and configuration of the solution
Education & Experience Recommended
• Four-year or Graduate Degree in Computer Science,
• Typically has 4-7 years of work experience, preferably in systems engineering, as ScrumMaster, computer programming language, or a related field or an advanced degree with 3-5 years of work experience.

Per the Colorado statute, the estimated range of compensation for this job in that location, at the time of this posting, is $100,000-$130,000. This position may be eligible for incentive pay, for openings where this is applicable.
