United Health Services is seeking a Talent Acquisition Coordinator to join our Talent Acquisition 02 department at 33 Lewis Rd in Binghamton, NY. This is a Per Diem position.

Overview

The Talent Acquisition Coordinator provides excellent services to our candidates throughout the recruiting and post-offer/onboarding process. By living and modeling organizational values of Compassion, Trust, Respect, Teamwork, and Innovation, we can create an exceptional experience for all.


The primary duties of the role are:
To facilitate a smooth and positive interview and onboarding experience for newly hired employees.
Partnering with the recruiter, schedule on-site interviews, including travel arrangements and preparing interview itineraries.
Proactively work with post-offer individuals in helping them through the onboarding process.
Ensuring the proper forms are signed, appointments scheduled, and regular contact made with these individuals.
Manages multiple individuals at various steps in the onboarding process and ensuring each step is completed.
Coordinate and support the in-person new employee orientation.
Work with fellow coworkers to address and resolve issues and challenges.
Takes on other duties and activities that are routine in nature as time and availability exist.

Qualifications

Education/Experience

• Minimum Required:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Read, write, and speak English fluently
  • Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Strong understanding of the customer, ability to solve problems and communicate clearly in a positive manner
  • Intermediate to advanced computer skills
  • Demonstrate ability to handle highly confidential information
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and critical thinking skills, ability to multi-task, and maintain a very high level of accuracy while meeting deadlines in a fast-paced and challenging environment
• Preferred:
  • Associate's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
  • Working knowledge of HR systems, including Workday
  • Experience working in Human Resources, Payroll or Finance

License/Certification

  • PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP
