Sommaire du poste

Le/La technicien(ne) à l’entretien technique assure les réparations et la maintenance dans tous les domaines d’intervention du service technique. Cette personne sera appelée à effectuer des travaux d’entretien de nature diverse à travers le bâtiment, autant à l’hôtel qu’aux résidences, selon les besoins.  

Responsabilités principales

• Intervient en cas d’alarme incendie et met en œuvre la procédure incendie ;

• Intervient en cas de pannes liées en priorité à l’hébergement et à la restauration ;

• Effectue quotidiennement des rondes techniques ;

• Vérifie le bon fonctionnement des installations ;

• En électricité : il/elle assure la maintenance préventive et curative des installations électriques dans la mesure du possible et met à jour l’enregistrement des interventions ;

• En téléphonie : il/elle répond aux demandes particulières des clients pour les branchements internet et aide à ses installations ;

• En architecture : il/elle entretient toutes les boiseries de l’hôtel, répare le mobilier endommagé et confectionne le mobilier simple. Il/Elle peint selon les besoins et les standards de Four Seasons ;

• En chauffage, climatisation et équipements de climatisation (CVAC) : il/elle assure la maintenance et l’entretien préventif des systèmes, lorsque possible ;

• En plomberie : il/elle entretient la plomberie, répare les installations sanitaires et la robinetterie ;

• Est le/la premier(e) intervenant(e) pour les appels de service sur les appareils de cuisines, et selon la gravité, effectue la réparation ou avise son supérieur pour faire un appel à un spécialiste ;

• Effectuer toute autre tâche connexe.
   

Qualifications et compétences souhaitées

• Être disponible les jours, soirs, nuits et fins de semaine ; (quarts de travail variables selon les besoins)

• Communiquer parfaitement en anglais et en français, à l’oral et à l’écrit

• Diplôme d’étude professionnel en entretien général d’immeubles. Toutes autres formations pertinentes au poste serait un plus

• Avoir une bonne résistance au stress et le gérer de manière positive et efficace

• Être à l’aise dans un environnement à cadence rapide ;

• Au moins 2 années d’expérience en entretien du bâtiment dans le domaine de l’hôtellerie, préférablement dans un établissement 5 étoiles haut de gamme. Une expérience dans un édifice haut de gamme serait un plus ;

• Faire preuve d’un très bon esprit d’équipe ;

• Intérêt et aptitude à offrir un service hors pair à nos clients ;

• Maintenir un aspect professionnel et se conduire de façon mature et avec intégrité en tout temps ;

• Être organisé(e), autonome, méticuleux(se) et débrouillard(e) ;

• Bonne connaissance de la plateforme Windows ;

• Connaissances en plomberie, CVAC, menuiserie, électricité et peinture ;

• Diplôme d’étude professionnel en entretien général d’immeubles, entretien général ou tout autre domaine connexe serait un grand atout ;

Overnight General Maintenance

Department: Engineering
Reports to: Director of Engineering

Status: Full-Time

Hourly Rate: $32.61

* Due to local laws, we prioritize applicants who have permission to work in Canada, and are fluent in both English and French; spoken and written.

Position Summary

The Overnight General Maintenance ensures that all repairs and maintenance are carried out with regards to all activities pertaining to the engineering division. This person will undertake a variety of maintenance tasks throughout the building, for either the hotel or the residences.

Core Responsibilities

• Intervenes in the event of a fire emergency by executing the fire emergency procedure;

• Intervenes in the event of a power outage giving priority to rooms and kitchen services;

• Does daily maintenance rounds of the building;

• Ensures all hotel equipment is functioning properly;

• For electricity: performs preventive and curative maintenance on electrical installations when possible. Keeps all logs updated;

• For telecom: responds to specific guest requests and performs all internet cable installations and helps with software setup in the rooms;

• For carpentry: Maintains all woodwork in the hotel, repairs damaged furniture and builds simple furnishings. Executes all painting tasks as per Four Seasons standards and hotel requirements;

• For heating, air conditioning and equipment (HVAC), ensures and performs preventive maintenance of these systems;

• For plumbing:  Maintains all plumbing related issues, repairs sanitary installations and fittings;

• Is the first responder for service calls regarding kitchen equipment, based on the extent of the problem, repairs or advises his superior so he addresses the situation appropriately with the proper specialists; 

• Executes all other related tasks.

Desired Qualifications and Skills

• Must be available days, evenings, overnights and weekends;

• Must be fluent in English and French, both orally and in writing;

• Professional diploma in general building maintenance. Other training relevant to the position would be a plus;

• At least 2 years of building maintenance experience in the hotel industry, preferably in a high-end 5-star establishment. Experience in an upscale building could also be considered;

• Demonstrates a very high team spirit;

• Interest and ability to provide outstanding service to our guests;

• Maintains a professional appearance and behaves in a mature manner with integrity at all times;

• Be organized, independent, meticulous and resourceful;

• Good knowledge of Windows environment;

• Good knowledge in plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, electricity and painting;

• ‘’DEP’’ in General Building Maintenance or any other related field would be of great asset;
