The C# Specialist works on problems of diverse scope where analysis of data requires evaluation of identifiable factors. Strong knowledge in C# technologies and debugging code is a must have. Demonstrates good judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions. Networks with senior internal and external personnel in own area of expertise. The specialist works on the migration efforts of critical, industry-class, on-house, or commercial products as well as tooling for use in project work.

What will your job look like?

• Learn the Astadia Factory tools to perform mainframe transformations.
• Provide expert level C# knowledge and debugging online and batch.
• Provide expert level Powershell and Bash Shell script coding.
• Document requirements, use cases, system design and code.
• Participate in multiple concurrent projects to completion on-time and on-budget.
• Deliver within the scope of the project within the scope of a Factory project while not compromising on quality.
• Work closely with team members and clients to achieve desired results.
• Thrive in an environment of collaboration and change.
• Mentor junior team members on Mainframe migration tasks
• Identify and bridge knowledge gap among team members from different background like C#, Mainframe etc

• Develops and works with the client’s mainframe specialists.

All you need is...

• 7+ years of experience with C# application and relational database technologies.
• 7+ Years of Development experience in C# coding
• 5+ Years of Development experience in Bash, Powershell script
• A plus would be candidate with 6+ Years of Development experience using cutting edge development tools like VS Studio/VSCode for C#.
• Certifications in any cloud technologies.
• BE in Computer Science or equivalent work experience.

• Expert level experience coding in C#
• Expert level experience coding in Bash and Powershell scripts
• Capable of code debugging, performing builds, and rollouts.
• Exposure to Performance testing and tools used
• Knowledge on how to do batch and online testing
• The ability to learn new frameworks in a short period.
