ASIC Design Automation Software Engineer, CAD - Israel, Yokneam

Are you a recent graduate or early in your software engineering career? NVIDIA is looking for a passionate and motivated junior software engineer to join our Chip Design Technologies team. In this role, you'll dive into the exciting world of EDA (Electronic Design Automation) software development, where electrical and software engineering intersect to create tools and solutions that accelerate the design and verification of next-generation products. What you'll be doing:

• Contributing to the development of software tools and solutions essential for advanced design verification methodologies at NVIDIA.

• Enhancing and refining our suite of in-house tools used in the design verification process.

• Collaborating with designers and verification specialists to ensure seamless integration of your solutions into NVIDIA's design verification workflow.

What we need to see:

• A degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering

• 0-3 years of hands-on experience in software development.

• Strong programming skills in Python.

• Willingness to communicate effectively with design engineers and customers.

• Proactive attitude, with an openness to initiating improvements in processes and tools.

• Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to work in a team, making collaborative decisions and contributing to team efforts.

Ways to stand out from the crowd:

• Knowledge of Linux.

• Experience of at least one year in Python.

• Exposure/experience to VLSI (Very-Large-Scale Integration) chip design or verification.

• Experience in EDA tools development.
