We are looking for an Robotics Developer Relations (DevRel) Manager! The Developer Relations Manager would lead our technical engagements within Industrial/Manufacturing community, to evangelize NVIDIA technologies and accelerate its adoption. You would have strong technical competence and a leader who can function effectively and independently in a matrixed environment.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Drive the NVIDIA platform landing in pilot project and light house account with Robotics related applications and use cases.

  • Develop and/or manage the Robotics ecosystem includes major customers’ Enterprise IT staff, domain experts, computer scientists and data scientists, together with external partners working in universities and research institutes, as independent software vendors or as service delivery partners.

  • Reviews business context for solutions to company challenges as well as defining the vision and requirements for the solution, recommending potential options, (which may include RFIs, RFPs or prototype development), selecting the most optimal option, and the development of a roadmap for the selected solution.

  • Maintain a fertile training and collaboration environment comprising workshops, hackathons, briefings, regular communications with developer teams, coordinating with internal NVIDIA resources such as IBD, development technologists (DevTechs), Solution Architect, Engineering team and product marketing groups.

What we need to see:

  • Bachelor's Degree in engineering or computer science or equivalent experience. Master's or Ph.D is preferred. Intellectual curiosity and passion for innovation. Minimum of 3 years of experience in successfully developing and deploying robotic systems in industrial, research, or academic environments, with a proven track record of successful implementations.

  • Strong experience in the use of the internet of things, embedded system. data analytics and management, industry 4.0 initiatives, and vision systems. And good feeling the competitive landscape and possible solutions.

  • Strong programming skills in languages such as Python, C++, or MATLAB, with experience in robotics frameworks like ROS (Robot Operating System). Excellent knowledge of software and application design and architecture, understanding of software quality assurance principles.

  • Knowledge of Humanoid robotic. robotics algorithms, control theory, and machine learning techniques relevant to perception, manipulation, and Robotic simulation tasks.

  • Familiarity with robotic hardware platforms, including actuators, sensors, and control systems.

  • Good communication skills to manage relationships with the key technical developer in communities. Able to lead and interact with cross functional team members to accomplish project tasks and goals.

  • Fluency in spoken &written English for worldwide communication.

Ways to stand out from the crowd/;

  • Experience on AI/ML/DL frameworks and data science tools and algorithms. Background with GPU computing and CUDA programming.

  • Proficiency in developing and integrating perception systems for robotics applications, such as 3D reconstruction, SLAM (Simultaneous Localization and Mapping), and sensor fusion.

  • Hands on experience in Robotics technology, such as experience with processing and interpreting data from various sensors, including RGB cameras, depth sensors, LiDAR, and radar.

  • Hands-on experience in designing and implementing motion planning algorithms for robotic manipulators, such as inverse kinematics, trajectory optimization, and collision avoidance. Proficiency in developing control systems for robotic arms, grippers, and end-effectors, including force control and compliant motion control.

  • Extensive experience with robotics simulation environments, such as Gazebo, ROS/RViz, PyBullet, or similar platforms. Ability to create realistic simulations of robotic systems, including accurate modeling of kinematics, dynamics, and sensor data.
