Hourly wage: $29.00 - $30.50

Your job:

In this role you will be responsible for property maintenance including PM on HVAC systems, shift work, small electrical repairs, kitchen & laundry repairs, purchase orders, and general repairs. 

Tasks will include, but are not limited to:

• Be the first responder to emergencies; including fire alarms and building management system alarms.

• Small repairs on kitchen & laundry equipment.

• Daily pool water chemical testing, and calibration of water testing equipment.

• Maintaining inventory on supplies and equipment.

• Make adjustments and minor repairs to heating, cooling, ventilating, plumbing and electrical systems, and contact tradespersons for major repairs.

• Perform other routine maintenance jobs such as painting and drywall repair.

About You:

• Trades Certification, or Engineering education is strongly preferred but experience in maintenance may substitute.

• Can work shift work including overnight.

• 1-3 years relevant experience.

• This is a physical role and requires continued standing, climbing ladders, walking etc. Must be able to able to lift and move up to 100lbs

• Ability to maintain an organized work area/shop.

• Prior hotel experience is preferred.

• Ability to work in Canada.

Schedule & Hours:

As our hotel is open 24/7, 365 days a year, we expect our service staff to be flexible in working mornings, evenings, weekends, overnights and holidays.
