Job Description Summary:

The nutrition informaticist is responsible for oversight, build and maintenance of all electronic patient meal management systems and related applications. This role serves as the liaison between nutrition services, clinical nutrition services, Information Technology, and collaborates with all stakeholders involved regarding system go-lives, upgrades, software updates, testing and implementing system enhancements, and resolving system problems.

Role is hybrid.

Minimum Qualifications:

LBOD - Licensed by Ohio Board of Dietetics - Certifying Board for Dietary ManagersCertifying Board for Dietary ManagersCertifying Board for Dietary Managers, RD - Registered Dietician - Commission on Dietetic RegistrationCommission on Dietetic RegistrationCommission on Dietetic Registration

SPECIALIZED KNOWLEDGE

Working knowledge of patient meal management and/or food service operational support software (I.e., inventory management, recipe database, etc.), preferred

Knowledge of therapeutic diets, medical nutrition therapy, and electronic medical records.
