The Opportunity

This role will be responsible to design and deploy the processes, pipelines and strategies for data management in the Manufacturing and Supply Chain projects. The Mfg Data Analyst will clean, analyze, interpret and display data from different sources, giving insights to the business in order to manage business continuity and drive productivity.

Will deploy the LatAm manufacturing strategy promoted by the use of Data generated in multiples softwares available in the SC ecosystem (MES / Predictive Maintenance / Digital Quality and Utilities / Kronos / etc).

Your Impact

As a DVC Data Coordinator for Smart Manufacturing & Smart Distribution your responsibilities would consist of:

• Identify opportunities for improve efficiency through the use of control and information systems.
• Develop standard procedures according with the best practise / Commissioning / Testing and replication.
• Translate opportunities into specific project deliverables, aligning internal and external technical resources to the priorities and resource requirements.
• Deploy SC data strategy providing data insights and developing processes to unlock data opportunities to the Latam operations.
• Using automated tools to extract data from primary and secondary sources.
• Removing corrupted data and fixing coding errors and related problems.
• Developing and maintaining databases, and data systems – reorganizing data in a readable format.
• Performing analysis to assess the quality and meaning of data.
• Filter Data by reviewing reports and performance indicators to identify and correct code problems
• Using statistical tools to identify, analyze, and interpret patterns and trends in complex data sets could be helpful for the diagnosis and prediction.
• Preparing reports for the management stating trends, patterns, and predictions using relevant data.
• Preparing final analysis reports for the stakeholders to understand the data-analysis steps, enabling them to take important decisions based on various facts and trends.
• Responsible to deploy and sustain model for projects with Data Minning in manufacturing.
• Participate in Ops Data projects implementation from Controls & Information Systems perspective in order to guarantee standards in place.
• Deliver productivity in accordance with benefit analysis to improve the performance of mfg sites based on the OT Data capabilities.
• Support MAKE LATAM C&IS digital strategy from a linear and reactive supply chain to a connected and responsive value chain.
• Deploy overall Operational Data transformation strategy for PepsiCo supply chain.
• Support MFG 4.0 pilots in partnership with sector supply chain and global horizontal teams.
• Accelerate the regional C&IS-DVC Agenda, setting the technology foundations to SC Operations and IT technologies for the factory to optimize the full manufacturing automation for high efficiencies.
• Build capability into the site structures to support the control and information systems.

Who Are We Looking For?

Education

• Student or Degree in quantitative field (e.g., Statistics, Computer Science, Physics, Engineering).

Experience

• Specialization in Data Analysis or Data Management.
• Ability to develop winning strategies/plans, understand functional interfaces, aligns team for action against key priorities.
• Experience required: a proven track record in developing/implementing data projects in OT or IT processes for the manufacturing industry, at least 2 years background in multi-discipline project implementations, and a strong understanding of at least two key functional areas of the business.
• Key skills include project/service management, effective communication and selling, negotiation and influencing skills at all levels within the business and demonstrated thought leadership.
• In depth knowledge of process factors impacting True efficiency for the lines in order to address main opportunities for the region.
• English (Fluent / native), Spanish (Fluent / native), Portuguese (Desirable)
• In-depth understanding and application of business knowledge across the broader business environment, as well as understanding of supply chain constraints and operational optimization.
• Must be willing to travel (Frequently 25% of time)

 Skills

• MSSQL Server database design and SQL programming
• Python or R programming for next gen capabilities.
• Experience with cloud platforms (Azure/AWS).
• PowerBi / Tableau for Data analytics / Celonis
• SCADA systems and Historians – Wonderware InTouch (desirable)
• PLC systems – Rockwell (desirable)
• IIOT – Industrial Internet of Things (desirable)
• OT and IT Network infrastructures (desirable)
• Wide-ranging knowledge of manufacturing software systems, processes and applications.
