Data Platform Engineer

THE WORK:

As a Data Platform Engineer, you will be responsible for assisting with the blueprint and design of the data platform components. Your typical day will involve collaborating with Integration Architects and Data Architects to ensure cohesive integration between systems and data models and implementing data architecture principles.

• As a Data Platform Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and implementing data architecture principles.

• You will work closely with the technology and data teams to ensure that the platform meets the organization's data needs.

• Your primary skill should be advanced in Data Architecture Principles. You should also have advanced proficiency in Database Architecture and beginner proficiency in Technology Architecture Blueprint Roadmap Definition and Platform Engineering.

• Develop and maintain data models, data dictionaries, and other data management tools.

• Ensure data quality and integrity by implementing data governance policies and procedures.

• Optimize data platform performance by conducting regular system testing and troubleshooting.

HERE'S WHAT YOU’LL NEED: ​

• Must Have Skills: Strong understanding of data architecture principles.

• Good To Have Skills: Experience with data modeling tools such as ERwin or ER/Studio.

• Experience with data integration technologies such as ETL or ELT.

• Experience with data governance and data quality frameworks.

• Experience with cloud-based data platforms such as AWS, Azure, or SnowFlake.
