Four Seasons Hotel Prague is looking for a talented Night In-Room Dining Server to join our F&B team.

About the role

You will ideally have a special talent and passion for ensuring you deliver the highest of standards consistently and ensuring that our food and beverage offering is at the center of our guest experience.  You will be responsible for offering guests an enjoyable, expertly served beverage/dining experience in their rooms. You must be comfortable discussing food and wine choices with guests in detail.

What to Expect:

This position is offered for a definite period of time of 12 months with a possibility to extend to unlimited contract, based on your performance. Your trial period will be 3 months.

Feedback is a key; therefore, you will be asked to give your feedback on regular basis and you will also have an informal chat with your manager and trainer.

What you will do

• Anticipate guest needs, ascertain satisfaction, and offer suggestions, and respond urgently and appropriately to guest concerns and requests. 
• Properly and accurately close guest checks in Micros.
• Process cash and credit card payments; properly settle voided checks or complimentary meals.
• Observe physical condition of facilities and equipment in the outlet and make recommendations for corrections and improvements as needed.
• Provide the service of food to guests.
• Assist with the cleaning of operational areas.
• Ensure full understanding of the menu with the ability to effectively provide our customers with detailed description of dishes.
• Good knowledge of the wine list and cocktails with the ability to effectively provide descriptions to our customers of wines by the glass and signature cocktails as a minimum
• Coordinate set-up requirements for hotel and off-site functions according to the banquet event order; communicate directly with group contacts, Catering Managers, and Conference Services Managers to ensure that all details of the function are carried out.

What you bring

• Previous F&B experience/or the Internship is a strong advantage.
• Good knowledge of food & beverage service.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and personal presentation.
• Outstanding communications skills with a strong command of the English language.
• Ability to learn how to pour, mix and blend a wide variety of wines, spirits and drinks.
• Flexible schedule with the ability to work all shifts, weekends and holidays. AM & PM shifts for 8,5 hour, 5 days per week.
• Working computer skills and knowledge including but not limited to Excel, Word, Internet and Micros.
• Must have EU work authorization.
