Four Seasons Hotel Prague is looking for a talented PR & Communications Executive to join our team.

About the Job

Strategic and results oriented Public Relations and Communications Executive with passion for travel industry, high engagement and creativity.  The role is key in supporting the business objectives of the Hotel, increasing awareness and positive perception of the brand on local as well as international markets.

What to Expect

This position is offered for a definite period of time of 12 months with a possibility to change to unlimited contract, based on your performance. Your trial period will be 3 months. Feedback is a key; therefore, you will be asked to give your feedback on regular basis and you will also have an informal chat with your manager and trainer.

About You and Key Responsibilities :

• Be proactive and creative in identifying and developing integrated PR and content plans which capitalize on unique and newsworthy stories as well as leveraging unexpected opportunities as they arise.
• Engages in media relations by actively managing professional relationships with local and international media and influencers that will benefit the hotel. Includes hosting media visits, pitching targeted story ideas.
• Organizing photo shoots, entertaining key media and influencer contacts (especially local ones for supporting F&B and Spa).
• Work closely with the F&B and Spa teams to support their activities, prepares PR plans and calendars to feed relevant owned channels so as to stimulate revenue opportunities.
• Assist with comms and creative briefs and keep employees and corporate partners informed of relevant news and updates to maximize opportunities for exposure.
• Monitors own media coverage (PR report) and competitor coverage, social media of comp set as well as online reviews for better market insight.
• Post press releases, story starters, staff profiles and updates on the Press Room on a regular basis.
• Understands Hotel’s marketplace; well-informed of market trends, including evaluating the competition’s marketing communications activity and implements change as dictated by market requirements.
• With professional vendors, create relevant and engaging content for PR, Social Media and yearly comms campaigns.  

Qualifications

• University degree in journalism or communications or equivalent experience preferred.
• A minimum of four years’ experience in public relations.
• Strong and effective interpersonal skills.
• Proven relationships with media, community and business contacts that have delivered   demonstrable results, and the personality to maximize these contacts.
• Excellent communications skills (verbal and written in Czech and English), a strong sense of quality and a creative mind set.
• Proficiency in leveraging social media networks and related monitoring tools.
• Ability to create newsworthy events, develop story ideas and follow through with pitch leads.
• Must have EU work authorization.
