Partner Enabelment Sales Support - RCO (PLANO)

We are hiring a professional, self-motivated, high-energy individual who can call to gather qualifying information, uncover needs, and manage new partner contacts.

Each month the company website attracts tens of thousands of visitors and the team will drive our performance by reaching out to those who have downloaded premium content (Dummies books, whitepapers, research reports), visited us at live or online events as well as those who have contacted us directly. The position will also be expected to make outbound telephone calls to a provided list of these prospects.

Position Summary:

• Issues customized Partner Welcome Kits
• Manages new partner contact onboarding into Ribbon tools (Salesforce, Partner Portal, CPQ Quoting Configs, Training)
• Manages updates to partner contact records as applicable
• Educate new partners with respect to Ribbon partner program compliance and accreditation
• Updates Partner credentials including, partner level and accreditations (salesforce, Partner Locator, congratulations letters, certificates etc)
• Channel Support responses (@channelsupport.com)—Triage tickets that come into channel support from partners/internal to the correct place (training, support, renewals, PLM, sales, etc)
• Assist IT with user testing of new Partner Program automation features
• Present and promote Ribbon value proposition to partners
• Provides input into communications to partners on program and process changes via Know and Go and direct mailings from Hubspot, such as walk-throughs, descriptions of changes, partner and mutual benefits statements
• Ensure Program Documentation on the Partner Portal is up-to-date and ease of access as well Portal Experience quality for partners.
• Coordinate with Marketing team and PLM on publication of new documents and changes in the Partner Portal, including quarterly Partner Price List Updates.

Key Skills:

• Numerate, with good MS Excel skills
• Salesforce or other CRM admin/operations skills
• Detail-orientated
• Previous Customer-facing role experience
• Remote working/working with remote teams

Required Experience:

• High School Diploma
• Professional phone and office etiquette 
• This position will be in the office 3 days a week in Plano, TX - Required
• The goal is for this role to convert to a regular full-time position within 6 months
• Experience using salesforce.com as a CRM to manage the leads pipeline.
• Excellent prospecting, communication, and written skills.
• Strong Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook)
• Sales experience in networking, telephony or telecom a decided plus.
• Understanding of Information Technology or highly versed in a related technology field (networking, session border controllers, media gateways, unified communications) is a plus.
