In one sentence

Designs, develops, modifies, debugs and/or maintains software systems. Works independently on one or more specific Microservices within a large software system scope and can tackle more complex tasks and is proficient in the expected competencies and knowledge.

What will your job look like?

• You will design, develop, modify, debug and/or maintain software code according to functional, non-functional and technical design specifications.

• You will work within a team, collaborate and add value through participation in peer code reviews, provide comments and suggestions, and work with cross functional teams to achieve goals.

• You will be doing engineering – Designs at user story level, develops, modifies, debugs and/or maintains software code according to functional, non-functional and technical design specifications.

• You will follow on software engineering standards, applicable software development methodology (such as DevOps) and release processes.

• You will ensure code is well designed, testable, maintainable, scalable and supportable.

• You will develop software verification plans and automation and integrates software components into a fully functional software system. Promotes system reliability and operability.

• You will provide demos of software products to stakeholders.

• You will do research on issues by reviewing/debugging code, provides fixes (analyze and fix bugs) and workarounds, reviews changes for operability to maintain existing software solutions.

• You will have technical ownership and accountability for your specific work products within an application and provides technical support during solution design for new requirements.

• You will ensure that documentation related to specific modules/applications is correct and up to date.

• You will be challenge to innovation and Continuous Improvement - Actively searches for new ways, continuous improvement and efficiency in all assigned tasks.

All you need is...

Bachelor's degree in Science/IT/Computer Science or equivalent

• At least 3 years and up to 6 years of experience in SW Engineering role.

• Good understanding of business domain (Telecom or Banking industry is preferred)

• Hands-on experience in developing and delivering projects on Microservices

• Strong Java and J2EE background. Working experience in REST and web application framework like Spring Boot.

• Experience with Continuous Integration(Jenkins), Continuous Deployment, Static Code Analysis (SonarQube)
