• Deep technical knowledge on NetApp storage

• Deep Technical Knowledge on Dell/EMC PoweMax and ECS

• Deep Technical Understanding of SAN Switches and Zoning

• Good understanding Of Backup tools like Cohesity and Veritas Backup EXEC

• Basic knowledge on one or more Backup tools

• Knowledge of ITIL processes

• Edit and create new documentation as per with existing standards

• Event Management (analyze alerts and logs)

• Handle incident (Create, update and maintain Knowledge base articles)

• Creating RCAs & resolving issues & in completing daily assigned activities including the training

• Provide on-call support and take part in technical discussion and crisis calls

• Developing Knowledge Base Database.

• Plan and schedule for change management.

• Excellent knowledge of Cohesity and Netbackup

• Experience in Configure and Maintain backup operations for Virtual systems such as VMware and Hyper-V.

• Configuration of new clients for Normal backups as well for Database clients like Oracle, SQL, Mongo DB etc. With multiple OS support like Windows, Linux etc.

• Experience in Veeam Backup Proxy Transport Modes and architecture

• Good knowledge in CIFS(SMB) share/NFS and backup repository, VM copies and metadata for replicated VMs.

• Good Knowledge in de-duplication and replication concepts.

• Troubleshooting backup failures, categorizing them to make sure long and repeated failures are addressed as priority.

• Experience in setup Data Domain, Tape Libraries, SAN storage and Basic Disks.

• Knowledge around Azure / AWS cloud services and the cloud ecosystem.

• Knowledge on Backup server / Backup agent upgrades and patching during the approved maintenance window

• Create Standard Operating procedures. Involve in installations, setting up clients for backup, recovery procedures

• Create RCAs & resolving issues & in completing daily assigned activities including the training.

• Plan and schedule for change management.

• should be willing to work in 24x7 Shift.
