Overall Experience 10+ years of IT experience and minimum of 7+ years of experience in Server administration. At least 5+ years of experience on VMware Virtualization platform , Cisco UCS Converged Infrastructure and Cloud (AWS, Azure) is must. Should have performed Windows server administration activities. Willing to provide 24x7 support, flexible to work in the shifts.

• Troubleshooting, Problem solving , Hardening servers.

• Installations for security patches, functional patches, and version upgrades(SCCM)

• Experience of VMware Virtualization platforms.

• Experience in VM build and VDI administration.

• Experience in VMware ESXi host patching .

• Cisco UCS Management .

• Cisco FI and Blade Firmware upgrade management .

• Strong experience using Active Directory, DHCP, DNS, IIS 5.0/6.0,FTP, Group Policy.

• Event Management (analyze alerts and logs)

• Handle incident (Create, update, and maintain Knowledge base articles)

• Perform Root Cause Analysis and Drive Problem Management .

• Manage Service Delivery (execute direct orders, respond to standard requests)

• Perform High Availability / Disaster Recovery setup including Active-Passive Cluster, Fail-over, I/O fencing

• Backup & Recovery (server backup & recovery) activities

• Other miscellaneous activities (stop, start, managing alerts/logs, license management, hardening, third party s/w installation & configuration )

• Provide Support to L1 team in creating SOPs & resolving issues & in completing daily assigned activities including the training

• Available for 24X7 shift and on-call support

• Programming (PowerShell)

• Experience in managing any monitoring tool - SCOM, Nagios or any other monitoring tool
