Senior Specialist - System Management
Overall Experience Having 10 + years of experience in Sun Solaris administration, AIX and RHEL and Good Understanding of Jenkins
Desired Anchor attributes KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Global Customer Production Support on Sun Solaris 10&11 ,AIX 6&7 , RHEL 6,7,8.
• Perform User and Security Administration, Implementing File Permissions for the Users and Groups.
• Perform DC-DR drill activity
• Setting permission on file and dir.
• Volume Manager: SVM, UFS, ZFS NFS,
• Virtual Environments: LDOMs, OVM Creating and Managing LDOMs in Solaris 10, 11
• Monitoring and Tuning the System Performance.
• Perform User and Security Administration.
• Implementing File Permissions for the Users and Groups.
• Crontab & Access Control List (ACL).
• Managing File Systems. Managing SVM.
• Responsible for Package and Patch Management & Installation.
• Scheduling jobs using Crontab & AT utility.
• Responsible for Package Management & Installation
• Responsible for Firmware management
• Managing SUN Cluster & Managing OS hardening
• Network File System (NFS) Administration"
• Good Understanding of VMware , Physical Servers and IAAS components on AWS and Azure.
• Ensure application stability with extensive Monitoring (Xymon and Splunk monitoring)
• Change & Release management . Good Understanding of RMS Tools (STAT, Subversion, Dimensions CM, Bamboo, Change man and Jenkins)
• Troubleshoot and provide best solution for memory, disk, process, and other alerts.
• Collaboration with other teams and Customer to resolve any linked issues.
• Document all processes & other Knowledge management artifact
• Interact with client on regular basis to review CR & incidents
• Troubleshoot Prod issues & perform RCA by debugging logs
• Resolve incidents reported by end users within SLA and Right first Time (RFT)
• Suggest improvements to application and process to automate repetitive tasks
• Experience in Incident & Problem management
• Experience in Devops deployment process, and good understanding of Jenkins, Matillion tools.
• Experience in Linux (basic commands, mounting/unmounting, analysis of Linux OS logs, shell scripting)
• Basic understanding on Denodo tools. Should be a quick learner if not exposed to this learning until now.
• Basic Understanding of Kubernetes & Microservices. Should be a quick learner if not exposed to this learning until now.
• Basic understanding of Network domain (IP ranges, Load balancer concept)
• Experience in support project would be another added advantage.
• Good communication(oral & written) skills to interact with client on regular basis
• Available for 24X7 shift and on-call support
Desired:
• Good knowledge on OVM firmware, Solaris Servers.

Educational Qualification:
BCA/MCA/BE/B.Tech or equivalent.
