Must have Skills : Java resources with experience building RESTful API + Operations and Support + some dev ops skills. Job Requirements: Key Responsibilities: A. Design and development of Microservices (RESTful APIs, Reactive and Batch) based applications. B. Development of APIs based on BIAN (Banking Industry Architecture Network) spec C. Follow coding standards and best practices to achieve high quality outcome. D. Play an active role in positively influencing the design direction and decisions. E. Check in and deploy code and configurations; participate in release management. F. Taking ownership of the features/components - from development through deployment and verification, to setting up in production. G. Participate in key initiatives from the Engineering team on innovative ways to improve capability, standards and risk profile of the platform. H. Cooperate with other departments and stakeholders as required to perform assigned duties or reasonably assist other staff in performing their duties. I. At all times act in a courteous and professional manner and use best judgement to advance the interests of the company, its customers and staff. J. Undertake any other tasks assigned by your manager that you have the capability to perform safely in line with relevant internal Group policies and external regulatory requirements. Technical Experience: A. Expert Java or Kotlin and REST APIs. B. Serverless Computing using AWS (AWS lambda, Kong API gateway, IM Roles & Policy, Bean Stalk, Fargate, VPC, Subnets, Route tables, Load balancer, EC2, EKS etc.). C. Expertise in MVC framework, Oauth2 and AWS CDK. D. CI-CD Tools – GitHub, GitHub Action, SonarQube, TeamCity, Docker, Kubernetes E. Microservices Architecture, Design Patterns and best practices in software programming. F. Working knowledge of Kafka, IBM MQ, SQL and No-SQL DB. G. Monitoring and logging tools – Splunk, AppD and Cloud Watch Canary. H. Experienced in Performance Tuning while building High throughput and resilient applications. I. SDLC with Agile methodology. J. Banking and Payments domain knowledge Professional Attributes: A. Good communication Skill Additional skills: A. Tertiary qualifications in an IT/computer-related discipline B. CI/CD working experience with TeamCity or Jenkins C. Experience in API D. Expertise in .NET development
