In brief

Working as part of a team and individually, you will be responsible for the development and the implementation of Amdocs’ Service Assurance suite. The individual will possess strong technical skills and be capable of proactively working on projects without requiring constant supervision by the team leader.

What will your job look like?

•Support & troubleshoot our product modules and system operation during deployment and support stages
•Development of software adaptors (ETL)/ drivers per customers’ requirements and Telecom designs, Installations and system administration, configuration, tuning & optimization as well as updates/upgrades deployments.
•Support the testing teams internally and on-site
•Support and guide the customer remotely and onsite
•Energetic, flexible, team player, able to use own initiative and take the lead when needed
•Support and maintain critical production systems

All you need is...

Knowledge and Skills:

•Bachelor's degree or equivalent (preferably in software engineering, computer science, Industrial Engineering, Management Information Systems or Electronic Engineering)
•Very high command of English – both written and verbal
•Ability to understand complex data flow and troubleshoot multi-module systems.
•Presentation and training skills
•Energetic, flexible, team player, able to use own initiative and take the lead when needed
•Have an aptitude for learning
•Be comfortable with working to tight deadlines
•Be able to demonstrate a methodical and consistent approach to their work
•Be able to multitask

Technical Requirements:

•Strong Scripting capabilities such as (Bash, Shell…). 
•Strong Coding capabilities in any of the languages like C, C++, Java, Python, PL/SQL or equivalent.
•Hands-on experience on Linux servers 
•Experience in Linux/BD System optimization, System tuning.
•At least 5 years of experience with Unix/Linux and SQL platforms.

Desirable Technical Qualities:
•Experience with Delivery groups and/or Telecom knowledge - an advantage
