Summary: As an Application Designer, you will be responsible for assisting in defining requirements and designing applications to meet business process and application requirements using Microsoft SQL Server. Your typical day will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams, analyzing business requirements, and designing solutions to meet those requirements. Roles & Responsibilities: - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze business requirements and design solutions using Microsoft SQL Server. - Develop and maintain database structures, stored procedures, and queries to support application development. - Ensure data integrity and security by implementing appropriate data access controls and backup and recovery procedures. - Provide technical guidance and support to development teams to ensure adherence to best practices and standards for database design and development. Professional & Technical Skills: - Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft SQL Server. - Good To Have Skills: Experience with other database technologies such as Oracle or MySQL. - Strong understanding of database design principles and best practices. - Experience with database administration, including performance tuning, backup and recovery, and data access controls. - Experience with application development using Microsoft technologies such as .NET or C#. - Solid grasp of software development methodologies and practices, including Agile and Waterfall. Additional Information: - The candidate should have a minimum of 3 years of experience in Microsoft SQL Server. - The ideal candidate will possess a strong educational background in computer science or a related field, along with a proven track record of delivering impactful solutions. - This position is based at our Bengaluru office.
