Job Title: Business Analyst (with Reinsurance experience)

Work Location: Toronto, Canada / Remote

Required Experience: 6 - 8 Years

Technical Skills Primary

• Must have strong reinsurance domain knowledge.
• Must have experience with data migration and related issues from one application to the other.
• Experienced with developing user stories from business requirements.
• Experienced in handling SaaS vendors and be able to coordinate with multiple stakeholders.
• Must have strong excel capabilities for data manipulation reporting.

Responsibilities

• Answer day to day questions from business users on Open issues.
• Clarify direct development team on their day-to-day questions for stories and support items.
• Proactively analyze data for issues and process improvements in Reinsurance data based on roadmap patterns of issues.
• Collaborate with product manager to write user stories for developers.
• Explain data issues to business stakeholders the plans on how to correct such issues in terms they can understand.
• Able to multitask and be focused on the end goal as defined by client.
• Be an extension of the client’s team and manage keep track of overall engagement.
• Be up to date on documentation.

Soft Skills

• As this is an onsite role must have strong written and oral communication skills
• Strong ability to work with client stakeholders and Business Users
