Project Role : Infra Tech Support Practitioner
Project Role Description : Provide ongoing technical support and maintenance of production and development systems and software products (both remote and onsite) and for configured services running on various platforms (operating within a defined operating model and processes). Provide hardware/software support and implement technology at the operating system-level across all server and network areas, and for particular software solutions/vendors/brands. Work includes L1 and L2/ basic and intermediate level troubleshooting.

Summary: As an Infra Tech Support Practitioner for Infrastructure Technology Support, you will be responsible for providing ongoing technical support and maintenance of production and development systems and software products. Your typical day will involve troubleshooting and resolving issues related to Microsoft SQL Server Database Administration and implementing technology at the operating system-level across all server and network areas. Roles & Responsibilities: • Familiarity with AWS cloud services and infrastructure components, including EC2, RDS, S3, IAM, and CloudWatch • Configure, deploy, and maintain SQL Server instances on AWS EC2, RDS (Relational Database Service), and other AWS services. • Perform routine database management tasks such as installation, configuration, patching, backup, recovery, and monitoring. • Monitor database performance metrics using AWS CloudWatch and other monitoring tools. • Identify and address performance issues through query optimization, indexing, and resource allocation adjustments. • Perform and maintain backup and recovery strategies, database refresh, to protect SQL databases from data loss and ensure business continuity. • Create and maintain documentation for database configurations, procedures, and operational guidelines Professional & Technical Skills: • Minimum of 2-3 years of experience as a SQL Server Database Administrator, with exposure to managing SQL databases on AWS. • Proficiency in SQL Server administration tasks such as installation, configuration, backup, recovery, and performance tuning. • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment. Additional Information: - The candidate should have a minimum of 2 years of experience in Microsoft SQL Server Database Administration. - The ideal candidate will possess a strong educational background in computer science or a related field, along with a proven track record of delivering impactful solutions. - This position is based at our Bengaluru office.
