Project Role Description : Administer, develop, test, or demonstrate databases. Perform many related database functions across one or more teams or clients, including designing, implementing and maintaining new databases, backup/recovery and configuration management. Install database management systems (DBMS) and provide input for modification of procedures and documentation used for problem resolution and day-to-day maintenance.

Summary: As a Database Administrator, you will be responsible for administering, developing, testing, or demonstrating databases. Your typical day will involve designing, implementing, and maintaining new databases, performing backup/recovery, and configuration management. Roles & Responsibilities: - Install and configure database management systems (DBMS) and provide input for modification of procedures and documentation used for problem resolution and day-to-day maintenance. - Perform database maintenance activities such as backups, restores, and recovery. - Design, implement, and maintain new databases, including creating database schemas, tables, and indexes. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve database-related issues. - Develop and maintain database documentation, including data standards, procedures, and definitions. Professional & Technical Skills: - Must To Have Skills: Strong experience in Red Hat OS Administration. - Good To Have Skills: Experience with other database management systems such as Oracle, MySQL, or SQL Server. - Experience in database backup and recovery procedures. - Experience in database performance tuning and optimization. - Experience in database security and access control. - Experience in database replication and clustering technologies. Additional Information: - The candidate should have a minimum of 3 years of experience in Red Hat OS Administration. - The ideal candidate will possess a strong educational background in computer science, information technology, or a related field, along with a proven track record of delivering impactful database solutions. - This position is based at our Pune office.
