Job Title : Data Technical Architecture

Work Location : BurgessHill,UK

Mode of Employment : 1 Year Fixed Term Employment.

Job Description:

• Analyse business process, coordinating with business partners to formulate architectural

strategies for technical solutions and developing functional design to deliver business objectives.

• Participate in the development and review of business and system requirements to obtain a

thorough understanding of business needs in order to deliver accurate solutions

• Revising and analysing the effectiveness and efficiency of existing systems and developing

strategies for improving or further leveraging these systems

• Good Knowledge on NOSQL design and flexible schema definitions with variety of products (Couchbase, Mongo, Cassandra, Postgres,BigQuery ..etc) and data modelling techniques
• Create conceptual, logical and physical data models with enterprise best practises and standards
• Worked on OLAP and OLTP applications
• Very good knowledge on ERStudio and Hackolade.
• Designed logical data model to consolidate various subject  as including standard definition, data types, size , domain of entities and attributes
• Strong knowledge on data standardization, transformation, cleansing and best practices to

apply on high volume data

• Good knowledge on AWS with AWS components like EC2,S3, IAM etc
• Strong business acumen that enables the ability to develop strategy, process capabilities, and

enabling database technologies

• Experienced in creating highly available systems, leadership skills and ability to mentor and train other technical staff members
• Active participation in building enterprise standards and guidelines
• Researching Data architect industry trends
• Developing, implementing and maintaining a modular metadata strategy
• Data Profiling & Security. Documenting Data Lineage and Concerns related to data

placement as per Client’s/Organization’s Standards.

• Sub Model Synchronization; Generating PDMs. Creating and Updating Macros
• Providing strategic guidance with respect to data management, data

warehousing best practices and data quality documentation.

• Documenting known issues and the problem area in Database along with the

possible improvements .

Experience in Agile environment (Good to know Rally/Jira).
