Manager - Design Footwear - Bangalore

Footwear Designer:

As a Footwear designer you will be working in the design & development team responsible for designing and developing products (Men’s & Women’s footwear) that are trendy and fashionable for the international and domestic brands.
Design Development:
•Generate design concepts based on design briefs or product initiations.
•Create design concepts, print designs, renders of product designs, using computer-aided design (CAD) software and other tools.
•Develop and maintain design specifications, technical drawings, and documentation for product designs.
•
Color, Material, and Finish Selection:
•Research, analyze, and identify appropriate colors, materials, graphics and finishes in line with design concepts, market trends
•Creating story boards, color palettes in line with category, product and brand.
•
Collaboration and Communication:
•Collaborate with cross-functional teams buying, sourcing and vendors on need base.
•To translate design solutions from concept through final products

Requirements:
•Bachelor's/Master’s Degree in footwear/accessories Design, with 5-7 yrs of work ex.
•Strong design portfolio
•Proficient in Adobe illustrator/Photoshop
•Excellent understanding of material properties with an ability to incorporate trend-driven insights into design concepts.
•Strong attention to detail and a passion for creating visually appealing products that resonate with current market trends.
•Effective communication and collaboration skills to work within a team environment.
•Flexibility and adaptability to meet changing design requirements, market trends, and consumer demands.
