Position Overview:   The Senior Software Developer (Hybrid Minneapolis) will play a key role in the support and execution of our e-commerce strategy. At this role, the developer will lead development efforts to support our e-commerce expansion. The incumbent should be a problem solver able to address and anticipate business challenges related to introducing new business models, online global expansion and business automation.

                               

Responsibilities: 

• Provide ongoing development and drive software architecture strategies
• Must be hands-on, able to develop, design and deliver high quality software solutions
• Coach and mentor junior developers
• Document architectures patterns and methodologies
• Participate in the design and update of the company’s e-commerce roadmap
• Work closely with Analysts/Scrum masters to analyze, track and manage business requirements
• Work closely with business product owners to understand business requirements
• Work closely with the ERP team to develop effective and efficient integrations between systems
• Write front and back-end software following Magento’s framework best practices
• Analyze, implement and test journeys scenarios as defined by the product owners
• Participates in code reviews and enforce best practices to ensure high quality of code
• Develop and execute a test strategy automated by at least 60% and yielding a high quality product
• Other duties as assigned

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
• 6+ years of experience in software development (C#, PHP, Java)
• Must be able to lawfully work within the US and have unrestricted work authorization for US

Preferred Qualifications:

• 2+ years of experience implementing an e-commerce application in a cloud environment
• 4+ years of PHP framework experience (Ex. Zend Framework)
• Previous exposure to software architecture roles and responsibilities
• 2+ years of Magento Commerce development
• Excellent organizational skills, self-administration, attention to details, multi-tasking, and effective prioritization
• Previous B2B global roll-outs implementations
