The Senior Facility Project Leader is a key member of the Global Real Estate and Facilities team.  This position is responsible for ensuring the safety and security of Ribbon’s real estate operations, as well as execution of ongoing real estate projects.  The person in this role is viewed as a problem-solver, wearing many hats and working behind the scenes to create a smooth-running physical environment. This position has a heavy focus on ISO Compliance as well as managing vendor relationships, making project management and relationship building key skills for the incumbent.   This role will not only ensure a safe and efficient work environment for Ribbon employees globally but also looks for ways to improve business performance and optimize staff productivity.

Responsibilities:

 

  • Collaborate with global facilities team members regarding physical security within the company.  Including but not limited to cardholder profiles, access privileges and cardholder audits.
  • ISO Certification Support: coordinate people and processes to ensure that our projects are delivered on time and produce the desired results.
  • Partner with appropriate internal and external parties on lease renewals, expiration of contracts, etc.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive maintenance and facilities management plans that ensure optimal performance, safety, and efficiency of all Ribbon Facilities globally.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key vendors and contractors to ensure high-quality work and cost-effective solutions.
  • Establish and maintain appropriate corporate security and building security protocols and risk controls.
  • Ensure that facilities comply with applicable health and safety regulations, including OSHA standards.
  • Develop and implement emergency response plans and procedures to ensure the safety and well-being of employees in a crisis.  Tie in site specific recovery plans into the global Ribbon Business Continuity Plans.
  • Collaborate with other departments to assess space needs and plan for facility needs expansions or modifications.
  • Work with local teams on facility related projects to ensure effective delivery of new space requirements, working within established budgets.

Requirements: 
 

  • Bachelor’s degree or business equivalent degree a plus. Professional certifications in facilities management or project management are desirable.
  • Minimum of 10 years’ experience working in facilities management or a related field
  • Ability to prioritize and simultaneously manage a variety of projects.
  • Experience in negotiating and managing contracts with vendors.
  • Strong experience in project management, including planning, executing, and overseeing large-scale projects.
  • Expert usage of the Microsoft Office tool suite.
