Job Description:
As a member of the Apollo Devtest team, you will be writing Test Plan, manual testing and automation testing for the features that will deployed in Tier-1 SPs, NRENs and Utility companies worldwide. The job requires having a solid grasp of the OTN technology on the Apollo family of products. The job entails working closely with the systems group/Dev group/ V&V group for testing a feature and automate the test scenarios. The position does require close interaction/collaboration with overseas Ribbon teams in Israel, China and Mumbai.
Job Description
Qualification:
B.E/B.Tech in computer science/ Electronics & Communication
• Strong TCL/Python programming skills with OOPS
• Must have a Manual testing and automation testing in OTN, DWDM, ASON/WSON, and ROADMs
• Should understand the RFC specifications
• Must have can-do and positive Attitude. Should take full responsibility/ownership of the tasks assigned.
• Excellent Written and Oral communication skills
• Expertise in Testing of IP/MPLS/GMPLS protocols suite would be an added advantage.
• Must have experience of planning/estimating Task and track it until completion for Test plan writing, manual testing and automation Testing
Experience: 2-5 years
