Job description

Qualification

  • B.E. / B. tech in Electronics or Electronics and telecommunication.
  • 5-10 years of Experience in working with Telecom Transport/Optical/Data/SDN product-based companies.

Domain Skills

  • Expertize in LINUX/UNIX, windows O/S platforms
  • CCNA Certified
  • Good knowledge of Oracle Database, mongo DB, maria DB & VMWare.
  • Working knowledge of Open Stack.
  • SDN Open Flow Certification
  • Hands-on Experience on SDN architecture based application including Docker, Container, PaaS
  • Hands-on work experience on EMS/NMS & troubleshooting related to MNG is must.
  • Working experience of at least 3 years in TAC, Testing.
  • Understanding of advanced and emerging technologies in DATA COM & Optical Transport domain.
  • In depth knowledge of Routing Protocols: RIP, IS -IS, OSPF, BGP.
  • Understanding of advanced and emerging technologies like MPLS, L3-VPN, Traffic Engineering, QoS and Multicasting
  • In depth knowledge of Layer 2 protocols like VLAN, STP, RSTP,MSTP, LACP,802.1p, 802.1ag,QOS.
  • Knowledge on Multicasting protocols like IGMP, PIM with Hands on experience on MPLS
  • Experience in configuration and setup to prepare lab setup for testing & simulation of customer issues in lab.
  • Should be able to work independently, must be fast learner and strong will to support customer.
  • Effective communication skills and an ability to work effectively in a dynamic team environment.

 Preferred / Added Advantage:

  • Experience in working on Solaris platforms with Unix Scripting (Shell or any other scripting languages like PERL, python)
  • Oracle certification

Roles and Responsibility

  • Handling customer issues raised by T2 in daily activities within defined SLA.
  • Supporting SDN application, Engineering & operation support prior to network ready as well as post deployment.
  • Follow up on malfunctions revealed during operation and solving them with the development entities.
  • Working with tasks database using ERP system and handling issues coming from T2 India & T2-Global teams until they are resolved.
