System Architect - PETAH TIKVA

Ribbon is looking for a motivated System Architect to join our Optical transport Architecture team.

Responsibilities

• Defining system-level requirements (both HW and SW), architecture, and functionality for Ribbon next generation optical transport products
• Accompany the design and execution process, ensure the design follows the architecture and meets the requirements
• Adapt new technologies from world-wide forums and standards organizations to Ribbon products
• Work closely peer System Architects, PLM, and R&D peers

Requirements

• BSc in Computer Sciences, Electrical Engineering or equivalent 
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Experience in development of carrier-grade communications systems

Advantages

• 3+ years of experience in System Engineering
• Experience in development/architecture of optical transport systems
• Second degree (M.Sc) or higher
• Experience in development/architecture of WDM/OTN/IP management systems
• Experience in requirement writing for web UI
