Position Overview:   

The Sr Sales Executive – Strategic Accounts will be responsible for the development, qualification, and acceleration of opportunities around all Digital Banking use cases including but not limited to Digital Card product solutions, Digital Customer Onboarding and other Entrust products. The plan will be based on T1 Financial Institutions’ accounts in North America.

The Sr Sales Executive – Strategic Accounts is responsible for developing sales plays tailored to specific technologies tied to Instant Digital Card Issuance and Management for T1 Banks and Issuers (e.g. In-app card activation into Apple/Google Pay, secure Card & PIN display, Card Management from banking apps, and any other Digital Card capability from the DCS Entrust portfolio), along with Entrust’s Secure Digital Customer Interaction initiative (Digital Banking Onboarding). The Sr Sales Executive will work with account sales teams to identify, evaluate, and pursue key T1 Banks for all Digital Banking opportunities, acting as the Sales lead teaming up with the Account Manager. Within the P&I NA T1 Sales team and reporting to the VP of Sales in NA Direct T1, the Sr Sales Executive will coordinate with Digital Card/Digital Banking COE Sales VP and Director, Marketing, Product and Alliances through the sales cycle.

Working along with multiple Account Executives, the Sr Sales Executive will act as a direct sales representative and Solution Sales for all Digital Banking Solutions and will develop the sales strategies in prioritized markets and achieving company sales objectives on Digital.

Responsibilities: 

Customer Facing – Account Engagement & Selling      80%
Key Actions/Activities

  • Identifies business opportunities by identifying prospects and evaluating their position in the industry.

  • Research and analyze sales potential.

  • Sells by establishing contact and developing relationships with banking prospects.

  • Act as an expert for Digital Banking Solutions, organize and coordinate team selling where needed, including T1 account Sr Sales Executives, bid management and technical resources.

  • Contribute to account planning, budgeting and forecasting.

  • Develop relationships with appropriate decision makers within targeted accounts and maintain deep understanding of customer’s profile and evolution to influence strategies related to product development and in pursuit of defined opportunities.

  • Drive and close sales – jointly accountable for achievement of quarterly and annual commitment          with T1 Account Executives

  • Stay abreast of new product or capabilities development that can impact or benefit the sales activity.

  • Participate in marketing and product activities that will need input from sales.

  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of competitive offerings within marketplace.

  • Leverage impeccable pipeline building and tracking solutions through timely and comprehensive use of the CRM system and other reports/tools available.

  • Create annual/quarterly business plans and reviews to ensure performance against plan and strategic imperatives.

  • Accurately forecast orders and manage funnel of opportunities.

  • Build strong and open cross-functional relationships with superiors, peers and team to coordinate resources.

  • Be able to lead a multidisciplinary team with one or more account managers.

Qualifications: 

Basic Qualifications  

  • Track record of consultative/solutions selling and team selling digital solutions to C-level customers and other decision makers.

  • 8+ years’ experience in business-to-business sales capacity or equivalent.

  • 2+ years’ solutions sales experience providing payment related solutions to Financial Institutions (T1 even better).

  • Successful track record of developing solutions sales & bid management.

  • Excellent interpersonal skills with customers, partners and colleagues

  • Must be able to lawfully work within the US and have unrestricted work authorization for US

  • Travel Requirements: Minimum of 50%, significant travel is expected.

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in Banking Digital sales (T1 accounts).

  • Experience in Payments (e.g. Card schemes, Card Processors) &/or Digital Banking (e.g. Digital Banking App providers & Platforms).

  • Degree in business or technology field related to Entrust business.

Compensation Range:


The pay range for this position is 230000 - 352000 Pay ranges will vary and will be set in the applicable currency. Actual compensation will be determined based on geographic location, education, skills and experience. Please speak with the recruiter for more details.
