Work closely with our local Category team as well as our global Data & Analytics organization with data and analytics. You will be responsible for the day-to-day work of collecting and analyzing data from both internal and external sources to produce data-driven decision-making insights for Category Managers and other decision makers within the company.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES & ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Work closely with the Price Execution Manager in supporting various departmental strategic initiatives in collaboration with Data & Analytics, Category Managers and the marketing organization.
Review, analyze and validate deliveries from our global Data Science Team and propose recommendations regarding price, assortment and promotion to our category managers.
Actively participate in the annual review of prices, assortments and campaign strategies in connection with business planning.
Independently carry out analysis of available data and propose optimization possibilities (For example, carry out analysis of purchase patterns in different product categories, price analysis competitor monitoring etc.)
Collects and collates data from a variety of sources (AC Nielsen, other competitive data, price surveys, census data, etc.) to create actionable insights for pricing strategies.
Work on automation and improvement of processes and embed new processes in regular flows.
Review annual re-clustering done by DS team, interpreting and verifying result with Category Managers.
Create and maintain BU templates for managing pricing rules, price families etc. Map them to associated metadata.
Join our global Analytics network on data and analytics issues and share experiences with other Business Units.
PROFILE REQUIREMENTS:
Experience compiling and combining large data sets from various sources.
Strong MS Excel skills with practical working knowledge of how to execute v-lookups, nested formulas, pivot tables, analysis tools, macros, and general working best practices.
Experience using BI tools and analysis & data visualization programs (Power BI, Tableau) are definite merit.
Experience communicating insights to different target groups.
Proactive, self-starter, ability to think of solutions to daily challenges, ability to identify areas for process improvement.
Pricing, promotional pricing, and assortment optimization experience is ideal.
Experience working for a selling organization is helpful (retail, CPG, B2B, etc.)
Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Finance, Mathematics, or other quant field.
Working knowledge of Microsoft programs including: Outlook, Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
