Essential Functions:

The AUDITOR position is a non-exempt (hourly) employee who reports to the Audit Supervisor.

Starting time 5:00AM

Minimum Qualifications

  • High School diploma or GED preferred.
  • Experience in auditing or retail sales preferred.
  • Must be able to use Microsoft excel and word.
  • Must have the ability to do research by reviewing data.
  • Must have reliable transportation to perform audits throughout the Region.
  • Must have a valid Driver’s License with no major offenses and current liability car insurance.
  • Ability to perform essential duties, job responsibilities and work in the conditions described below.
  • Ability to work with the equipment, tools and materials listed below.
  • Ability to work as scheduled and arrives to work on time.
  • Ability to communicate (orally and in writing) in English.
  • Ability to perform the four (4) basic arithmetic operations. Essential Duties

  • Provides prompt, courteous customer service.
  • Must work with Safety as the main priority and job duty
  • Inspect store facility and equipment for safety, cleanliness and proper working order.
  • Verify merchandise and cash in each of the Company stores by conducting a physical count using a hand held computer.
  • Notify store manager of wrong prices and pull out-of-code merchandise.
  • Count and record cash, checks in register, TACC tubes and safe.
  • Verify money orders, lottery ticket inventory, and bank deposits.
  • Verify gasoline inventory by sticking tanks and checking for water.
  • Perform Data Integrity Review to verify compliance with operational and financial procedures.
  • Performs other duties as assigned by the Audit Supervisor. Working Conditions

  • Perform approximately 95% of all work indoors.
  • Exposure to occasional cold temperature extremes while performing occasional work in a walk-in cooler and/or freezer.
  • Exposure to occasional noise.
  • Work with a minimum direction and periodic supervision. Physical Functions

  • Ability to stand and/or walk for an entire shift.
  • Ability to occasionally lift and/or carry up to 30 pounds from ground to overhead.
  • Ability to lift and/or carry up to 60 pounds from ground to waist level.
  • Ability to push/pull with arms up to a force of 20 pounds.
  • Ability to bend at waist with some twisting.
  • Ability to grasp, reach and manipulate objects with hands up to all day. (This work requires eye-hand coordination, and may require climbing a ladder to store and retrieve materials or place and remove products.)
